We are proud to announce that Midani Yarns has implemented the complete Oracle ERP solution, which integrates within all of our organization’s functions.

As part of Midani Yarn’s digital transformation strategy, our dedicated and experienced team worked for 6 months to finalize the implementation and apply it across all of Midani Yarn’s departments, i.e.., sales, procurement, finance and accounting, human resource, inventory, maintenance, and quality control.

What is an ERP system?

According to Oracle,

“Enterprise resource planning (ERP) refers to a type of software that organizations use to manage day-to-day business activities such as accounting, procurement, project management, risk management and compliance, and supply chain operations. A complete ERP suite also includes enterprise performance management software that helps plan, budget, predict, and report on an organization’s financial results.

ERP systems tie together a multitude of business processes and enable the flow of data between them. By collecting an organization’s shared transactional data from multiple sources, ERP systems eliminate data duplication and provide data integrity with a single source of truth.

Today, ERP systems are critical for managing thousands of businesses of all sizes and in all industries. To these companies, ERP is as indispensable as the electricity that keeps the lights on.

The global ERP software market was worth $50.44 billion in 2021 and is expected to be worth $117.68 billion by 2030, with a CAGR of 9.87% from 2021 to 2030.”

Benefits of an ERP system in the manufacturing industry

Companies in a multitude of industries, especially manufacturing, implement ERP systems to:

  • Automate and Streamline Business Processes

A comprehensive ERP solution will streamline business processes and aggregate all the data related to all functionalities – development, designing, inventory, procurement, production, finance, sales, delivery, and more in a centralized location where it can be accessed by any person in any department. Allowing teams to monitor and take proactive measures to ensure the automation and efficiency of the business processes.

  • Gain Real-Time Data Visibility

Using an ERP solution allows us to create a customized data dashboard that showcases real-time data for all your departments, thus allowing our teams to leverage the data they have to convert more customers, prevent data re-entry and enhance the production-to-delivery process.

  • Improve Customer Service

Empowering our customers with a customized portal to search through our products, order shipment status, and check our product availability and pricing.

We can also use data to understand their needs and which products are searched for the most. Also, we can pull and ship orders automatically, thus decreasing shipment lead time and giving us a competitive edge.

  • Reduce Costs

The ERP solution decreases administrative and operational costs in various ways. It automates manual processes to streamline operations, increasing workers’ efficiency as they work on specific operations and reducing labor expenses.

ERP’s real-time data allows us to monitor our inventory and integrate it efficiently with production planning, eliminating excess inventory and warehousing costs.

  • Secured Data Storage

An ERP solution gathers a ton of data, and it’s crucial to pair the system with a security function to protect the data from unauthorized access or tampering.

  • Inventory Management

Quality control is essential to the success of any business, and the ERP system allows us to track and monitor various quality management processes through alert mechanisms and monitoring at all levels, thus ensuring that all of our products are up to our standards.

  • Asset management

Asset management allows us to monitor all of the equipment in our factory and provide proactive maintenance to eliminate any sudden downtimes that will affect the production process.

  • Finance and Accounting

Finance and accounting are one of the main modules in our ERP system, as it allows us to monitor our finances and receive continuous reports enabling us to optimize wherever we can.
