Midani Group was established in 1960 as a promising manufacturer of high-end weaved textures. After two years, we started producing multiple categories of colored and printed high-quality fabrics. In 1990 we started manufacturing polyester yarn, which later proved to be a turning point in our story, as we became the leading Yarn Manufacturer in Egypt and one of the most popular yarn suppliers in the Middle East. POLYESTER FILAMENT YARNS (POLYESTER FDY)
Polyester FDY is a shortened word for Polyester Fully Drawn Yarn. Midani Group manufactures this yarn by spinning polyester PET Chips directly or from PTA & MEG without any complex steps. Yarn producers manufacture this type of yarn in a semi-textured molecular form, increasing the manufactured thread length during the polymer structure process. The yarn factories can use and texturize POY Yarn and convert it to stitches or combine it with several yarn categories.
There are several lusters of POY yarn, including Semi-Dull POY and Bright POY. The existence of cross-segments within the fibers causes the intense POY to glitter. Bright POY results in a finish with a bright gloss. Polyester POY yarn is often available in Raw White and a variety of other shades. The Dope Dye technique is typically used to shade POY since it is sophisticated and results in fully and consistently colored yarn. The natural ingredient and shading ace are combined to create the nitwit-colored POY. The Dope Dyed DTY yarn is frequently made from dope-colored POY yarn.

DTY is the abbreviation of Drawn Textured Yarn, also known as ATY "Air Textured Yarns" the manufacturing process produces this type of yarn by twisting and drawing Polyester Oriented Yarn with a texturizing mat using an air jet. In general, ATY Yarns are fully Drawn Yarns and Fully Oriented Multifilament produced with several distinctive features like:
